Default Ipomoea alba as a vegetable

Has anyone grown this to eat, or eaten it? It is apparently eaten
as a green vegetable in Ceylon, and I have tried I. aquatica because
some enterprising person was selling it on the market here. That
was fairly tasteless, but perfectly adequate.

Regards,
Nick Maclaren.
