Best Android App for identifying UK plants?
Following on from the question about how to share a photo, I am also
looking at plant ID Apps. However I would like UK specific if possible. Does anyone have a recommendation? Cheers Dave R -- AMD FX-6300 in GA-990X-Gaming SLI-CF running Windows 7 Pro x64 -- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. https://www.avast.com/antivirus |

I've recently started using Pl@ntNet, you can tell it to use a european plant database, don't think it has uk specific, but it's given me decent results so far. |

Pl@ntNet Identify is the one I use when I'm stumped (as far as I know it's the only one with a web interface), but its identifications have to be taken with a pinch of salt. An alternative would be to sign up at iSpot or iNaturalist, and get opinions from humans. -- SRH |
