Default Uses for plastic poultry manure tubs??

Hi, All

Excuse me if this has been covered recently, but has anyone got bright ideas
for reuse, recycling etc of the big white plastic tubs that pelleted poultry
manure comes in? They're ugly and I've enough planters, plus the garden
centre doesn't take them back.

Sure you could stack them and make a wormerie from them
or perhaps other keen gardeners would be glad of them for same or to collect
horse manure from a livery stable etc
I use mine for anything from car washing to sand and stones storage

Useful for collecting weeds and stones from the garden, or sheep pooh
and seaweed. Making small amounts of nettle or comfrey liquid manure.
Storing seed packets, handtools, birdfood, grit, small plant pots,
useful bits of string and rope, strawberry nets, in shed (stacked).
Planters for the greenhouse, or for mint or horseradish in the garden
(bury the pot)....er....cut the bottom out and bury the pot to make a
lidded disposal place for dog pooh. When you run out of uses, take pots
to a plant swap.

Janet.

Fill them full of sharp sand and "launch" fireworks from them. Obviously
this only works for the smaller fireworks but it's far simpler to safely
"bury" fireworks in the sand than it is into bare earth.
