Hello, where can I get seeds of the stunning new Meconopsis sinomaculata? Gotthelf I imagine you probably saw it, as I did, on http://www.rhs.org.uk/publications/p...02/newsrhs.asp I've done a quick Internet search -- as I imagine you have, too -- and can't find anybody selling the seed yet. It's probably too new a discovery; and I can't see from what they've put on their website if the RHS is growing it in any of their gardens. They have good relations with governments, but China may well have prohibited exports of such a rarity. If they do grow it successfully, the RHS will probably in a few years' time sometimes offer seed free of charge to members. But I can see why you don't want to wait! Mike. |
