The message
from "Kieron" contains these words: Can anyone tell the best way to dry some chillies for later use, growing more than neeed at moment. I just hang them up in a warm place. If you can find someone who uses sacks with stitched tops, ask them to save you a few 'pulls'. These are strong thin cord, and work admirably. I dry mushrooms on them too. -- Rusty http://www.users.zetnet.co.uk/hi-fi/tqt.htm horrid·squeak snailything zetnet·co·uk excange d.p. with p to reply. |

Just think 'warm and dry'. In other words in a green house or in your
own house in a warm, dry spot. Good luck |

Open freeze them so they are separate then bag, you can then take out however many you want to defrost. They freeze/defrost well. -- Bob www.pooleygreengrowers.org.uk/ about an Allotment site in Runnymede fighting for it's existence. |

When frozen, transfer from the tray to a bag, and return to the freezer. Take out a couple when you need them - very easy. We're still using up last years crop - just as well really as this years chillies are running incredibly late! SArah |
