Comfrey as prophylactic? ;-)

I know that comfrey is very useful in the garden but I have just discovered
a new application. My wife thought that it was important enough to tell you
all.

It starts with, I presume, young adolescents deciding to use my allotment
shed as a place where they can investigate their sexuality (and leave the
debris behind). The shed is never locked since there are no tools in there,
just a few drying onions and garlic. If I were to put a lock on it then
they would just break in and create even more damage. So my solution (in
more ways than one) was to carry a bucket of my most foul smelling comfrey
liquid into the shed, spread a little on the floor, then leave the bucket in
the corner. It stinks. When I came to the shed this morning the door was
open but the youths had obviously found the smell a little distracting. I
suspect that it acts in the opposite way to Viagra.

Now if I could only find a way to stop slugs procreating……

Regards

David Berry

If you place each slug inside its own condom then your problem is solved :-)

I put mine on a course of birth control pellets, (Blue in colour), spread
around the plants, certainly stops them breeding.

You mean "it breeding stops them."
