fuschias

Hi,
Help,
Can anyone give me advice on overwintering fuschias?
ok its not yet winter in Scotland, another 2 months away i hope, am just
keen to preserve this years plants.
i have been busy browsing various web sites but am no closer to what i want
to know
so here goes...........

My green house is not heated. I did manage to overwinter one plant last year
after protecting it in bubble wrap, though this years growth is slow, is
this expected or was i just lucky to get it to survive at all!

So this year i'm unsure what to do
My Fuschias are in large containers, Is it safe to move the plants to
smaller pots prune back and overwinter indoors?
And If so, can i slow down there growth to prevent them flowering and
getting to big and bushy as i have limited space..

As you can see i don't know alot about these plants what they will and wont
take in the form of punishment from me....but i would hate to lose them to
Jack.
Many Thanks in Advance
Jules
