Problems with Broad Beans
I'm trying to grow a dwarf variery of Broad Beans. The plants have flowerd
(a white flower), but then it turns black and just falls off with no fruit left on. Does anybody have any ideas ? I water them daily and we don't suffer from any bird/bee issues (thats living on a new housing development for you). Cheers Mark |

They are normally grown in spring, and might be reluctant to set in autumn. I don't know. If not, it is likely to be a lack of ferilisation (i.e. bumblebees etc.) Regards, Nick Maclaren. |
