well mine are simply in a mix of my own garden compost mixed with John Innes
Cant see any need for Ericaceous

Mine has thrived in ordinary multipurpose cmpost.

Cant see any need for Ericaceous


The reason for using ericaceous compost/soil is to ensure good autumn colours.
Acers prefer slightly acid soils and will produce more vivid autumn colours if
potted/planted in neutral/acid compost/soils.
