Would a Viburnum 'Eskimo' normally be grafted onto other rootstock? I
thought that a little seedling maplesque had managed to squeeze in right
next to the base of the plant but on further inspection it was attached to
the bush's rootstock - a bit like when roses send out wildrose suckers from
their base. Is this normal practice and why would it be done?

.....Hi alison...lots on 'viburnum eskimo' and 'viburnum grafting' from Gooooogle, but doubt they need to be grafted.

........message 2 ...roots easily from semi hardwood cuttings under mist in 4 weeks. been about since 1981. from V.Cayuga/V.Utile. Keep it..Alison..see what happens.
