PEst problem

I have a problem with some house plants, herbs & cacti. I keep finding tiny
white bugs underneath the pots in the base & in a bottle garden. They seem
to be around 1mm long and can jump a bit like a flea. I can't find anything
in my RHS encyclopoedia.

Any ideas

Sound like springtails. As far as I know, they're harmless so probably
aren't listed as a pest.

Thanks. As long as they are doing no damage then they are quite welcome to
stay.
