The important thing is if you suddenly see flashing lights within the eye
then seek advice Immediately ........not a few days later

Thanks David for the information. Unfortunately I do have the flashing
lights and it makes driving impossible at night. Hopefully by next
Wednesday, when I see the Consultant again, the problem will have abated
somewhat.

Don't worry too much until you have seen him/her. My wife had flashing
lights last year, I rushed her off the to the local hospital, the
specialist had a look and told her to come back in 5 years!

I should hope it was with the proviso that if she had a reoccurrence of
flashing lights to come straight back to casualty day or night.

It was. We still don't know what caused the flashing.
