New garden book
Keith Wiley, one time curator of The Garden House at Buckland Monachorum
near Tavistock, Devon has written a book coming out in April at £19.99. It's called "On the Wild Side" and the review says it "challenges our whole understanding of what a garden is. Why strive for year-round colour throughout the garden when small areas can seize the limelight at their seasonal peak?" Knowing Keith a little and having visited The Garden House often, I think this could be a very good and interesting book written by a passionate gardener. -- Sacha www.hillhousenursery.co.uk South Devon (remove the weeds to email me) |

All about the Veitch family nurseries, and plant hunting around the world during the Victorian era. Definitely recommend it. -- Martin & Anna Sykes ( Remove x's when replying ) http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~sykesm |
