Jeff,

Your plant probably needs a generous dose of patience and neglect from
it's owner :-) .

If it's in coarse organic compost as you say, that should be fairly
well draining and it shouldn't need re-potting. Add some grit to the
compost if you do re-pot.

Jeff,
