I put my Pheasant grass in the greenhouse over winter to stop the terracotta
pot from cracking. The grass is kind of greeny brown and I'm wondering if I
should cut it back or leave it alone? Help please ) Many thanks

Pheasant tail grass, Stipa arundinacea aka Anemanthele lessoniana,
from New Zealand, is semi-evergreen. It probably doesn't matter which
you do. Whatever improves its appearance, I guess.
