sets. They're exactly like ordinary sunflower leaves - only spaced 120°
round the stem.

Is this unusual in sunflowers? I've never seen it before.


It is tricotyledonous, most flowering plants are bicotyledons and grasses
are monocotyledons. It will probably have a thickened stem and you may get
some odd shaped flowers.
