How wet should my compost heap be?
 

As the title say... how wet? I have a plastic 'Earth machine' composter. I
watered it a little, but then feared it was too wet...now its dry..and I
dont know what to do! :o)

It should be neither wet nor dry but moist.

Moist, ie not dripping. It doesn't matter if the top few inches are dry.
If you have ants in there it's too dry!

It's not an exact science!
