Latex Moulds

Dear all

Apologies if this post is unacceptable in the group, I am looking to
sell some used latex moulds.

I have a selection of thick rubber latex moulds used for casting
concrete garden ornaments, all used three times and in excellent
condition (i.e. cleaned after every use, stored stuffed with
newspaper, and in original shaping). I planned to make a business of
it but was offered a job before I could perfect the casting technique.

Most are animals- rabbit, ducks, cat, etc. with a 'No Fishing' sign
and a few other bits and bobs.

Can anyone recommend a good place to sell these? I was thinking eBay
but it may be a bit specialised for that?

Thanks for your suggestions in advance.

Daniel

Your best bet would be Ebay. If you look up moulds or molds on there,
you'll see a few listed and they go for good prices.

You can sell *ANYTHING* on E-bay. However, make sure the money is in
your account before you send the goods. Also, if the bidding goes up to
a respectable (or inflated) figure, look out for scams.

You may be offered a big cheque or money-order (complete with
reasonable-sounding explanation for the deal), and be asked to subtract
your price and expenses, then reimburse the buyer the difference.

The cheque/money order will be either stolen, or a forgery, and the
transfer to your account will be annulled and your account debited for
the amount. And you will have paid nearly as much to the scum - er -
scammer.

This is often used for bigger sales, though smaller ones are not immune.
