Bleeding Heart

Once a vigorous Bleeding Heart has finished flowering do I trim it or leave it
to die back naturally ? I have a couple and they are creating a dark area.

Bleeding Heart

It all depends. Some Dicentra die back shortly after flowering in the spring
while others continue to bloom and grow until late autumn.
