Too late for Tomatoes?

Is it too late to source or grow tomatoes this year?
I like the sound of Tumblers! but other recommended varieties would be
considered.

TIA

AFAIK they have not yet appeared in the garden centres and most URGlers seem
to be hesitating about planting out until the end of May because of the
chance of frost.

Assuming you are planning to plant outside it is a little late for starting
from seed, but you should be fine if you buy plants.

You can start tomatoes much later in the year - e.g. by taking side shoots
of established plants and potting them up - and you will still get fruit,
just not such a long growing season.

Also depends on location - in general the further south the longer the
season and the earlier you can plant out.
