Yup, that's him...

Should I panic?

No, just squish him and any of his friends you can find, and keep
checking for the next couple of weeks...

Anthony

I just squashed 4 of them .......spoilt their fun too as they were you know
what ing !!!!!!

Check out for the eggs and young beetles. The eggs are red and will
be found on the underside of the leaves. The young beetles are brown
and look like small lumps of sh!t.

Its the young ??larvae?? beetles that strip the leaves from the
plants.

My dustmen took away my beetles after I spent an hour with a pair of
scissors and a plastic cup, snipping away at any leaf that had young
or old beetles on it.

The adult beetles seem quite passive so are easy to catch, perhaps I
caught them in a moment of post coital bliss, or perhaps they were
just shagged out.
