Default Scarify Lawn

Hi

Can you scarify a lawn any time of the year or is it best to wait for the
Autumn.

Any time of the year when it is growing *strongly*. This means never in
winter and in spring/summer/autumn providing it is not suffering from
anything like frosts or drought.

Never in Spring
Late spring or summer only to remove patches of dead moss killed by lawn
sand or moss killer
Best time is early autumn to remove thatch. If moss is present, treat
about 2 weeks before scarifying to kill it first. It may be advisable to
sow grass seed on any bare patches which materialise.
