Anyone heard of kiakura grass?

All I know about it is:
kiakura grass. It grows like a creeper unlike normal grass

anyone know anything about it?

A search on Google reveals nothing. You sure you got the name right?

It's called Kikuya grass...it's a bit of a problem down under - apparently
it strangles other plants in it's path.

there's a small picture here but there's not much to see:

type kikuya grass into google and you'll see that it's not really a welcome
addition to anyone's garden!

I think you mean kikuyu grass. It is excessively tough and rampant.
It is sometimes used in South Africa as a grazing grass in some of the
drier parts of the country.
