Default Draper Garden Shredder under £100 at Amazon

Got this at almost 30% off: 2400w, portable, self-feeding. Great for
composting or mulch.

I got one of these very recently and it is superb, though not at such
a low price. Grrrrrrrr.

Is it really ok to use freshly chipped trimmings for mulch though? I
thought I heard somewhere that they should always be composted.
