Care of Sunflowers after they have flowered ?
 

Hi,

We have 2 3'-4' sunflowers that we've grown through the year since our
daughter bought them home from school.

We've nurtured them, placed them in larger and ever larger pots, and watched
them grow to full bloom. But now the flowers are wilting (if that's the
right word?) and my wife is not sure what we should do next?

Any advice is welcomed :)

They will die off as winter approaches.
You can leave the heads on for the birds - they love the seeds :~)
Plant new ones next year.

The birds will probably find the seeds and happily gorge on them. You
could save a few and dry them to plant again next year.
