If you live near farmland, also the fox will quite happily try and find its
way to any hens and kill them all.
Which tends to be why some farmers kill them.

Which do you prefer to have around? A live fox and dead poultry? Or live
poultry and dead fox?

Pity mine don't know about slugs and snails, but they do rip hell out of my
grass after field mice voles and moles.
I'll settle for thrushes to get rid of slugs and snails and the cats for the
other vermin.

We have two foxes which comes most nights (one at a time; never together).
