I have a cowslip in flower. But it's just one flower stem, not the full

I suppose that what with Easter Eggs and Hot Cross Buns being available all
round the year, Christmas Decorations in the shops from September and Turkey
and Tinsel breaks complete with a "Ho Ho Ho" Santa in the hotels from
October, nature is bound to be confused and we will soon be picking Runner
Beans in February ;-))
