Default wild garlic/onion.

How doe's one get rid of wild garlic other than digging it up?

Dig it up, pot it up, and sell it to those who don't have. Gets rid of those
unwanted pots, makes some cash for whatever bring & buy, and spreads a bit
of pleasure. Gardening, don't cha love it.

Absolutely! Depending on the variety it could be quite palatable and
end up in kitchen veg baskets.

I suppose if the work is too much and you don't like garlic you could
lay some light impenetrable material over the ground the next time it
is relying on light for survival (e.g. old carpet, cardboard).

If you wanted to be really brutal you could selectively spray the
leaves with weed killer. Oh dear.
