OT - AOL users
....not that there's many who use newsgroups..
http://help.channels.aol.com/article...cleId= 218626 AOL are discontinuing newsgroup access. May I mention that there are free news servers around, namely www.usnetzone.com and http://www.individual.net/ You need to sign up with them and get a login name and passwod and then access your normal groups as usual. I don't know how you access them locally (VIA AOL) , but these need to be accessed via a newsreader such as Microsoft Outlook Express or Mozilla/Thunderbird or any number of free servers available via google -- http://www.blueyonder256k.myby.co.uk/ |
