Two ways are possible. You might wait until early spring. It seems that
weeds get green first in the spring. You make sure that is what is
happening in your yard, then spray it to get rid of the bad stuff, then
wait for the good to come in. The second is to let you grass grow without
cutting for a while in the spring. Most grass will crowd out the small
weeds if it isnt being cut back all the time.

Good luck. Dwayne

Try Verdone, that is a lawn weedkiller, leaves the grass untouched.

Sounds like a trefoil. They are annuals. Scratch em up to find the
source root then pull them out by hand. They are fairly resistant to
selective weed killers and may need two or more applications.
