You don't have the electronic cat scarer I recently recommended then do you?
My next door neighbour remarked on how good it was and her friend is going
to get one :-)) (She would like one but they have a dog so it couldn't be
used)

As cats are classed as 'wild' you are legally entitled to shoot them in your
own garden...

Actually you are not allowed to shoot them at all. Besides which they might
belong to someone like me who would come round and put your windows in and
spray your garden with weedkiller in revenge.

please?

Called the Cat and Dog Repelleer, it works off 2 x 9 volt batteries and is a
small and very portable unit and is easy to hide. It is made by STV
International Ltd 2002 at Little Cressingham in Norfolk

We paid 'about' £40.00 for it from our local Hardware/Ironmonger/Garden
store. The advantage of having rechargeable batteries is that it makes it
very easy to move around. Had it a month and recharged once.

A contractor that worked for me, a big Liverpudlian, get fed up with his
neighbours cat constantly doing its business in his garden that he shot it
right between the eyes.

Police were called but couldn'd do anything as cats are classed as 'feral'
and he was within his rights to take a pop at the creature on his land.

Three months later, he got a knock on the door, Christmas day. Opens door to
tearful woman wailing 'You killed my cat'..

as much as I detest the loathsome vermin, A) I wouldn't hurt one and B) I
get on very well with all of my neighbours and wouldn't want to upset one in
such a way, but, the cats one side were a nuisance and I was talking with
her in the front garden yesterday, when neighbour the other side comes and
asks about the cat deterrent. If you are honest with people and talk with
them, you can live in harmony. The trouble comes when one starts ruling the
roost, a street 'net nanny'. Sooooon to be taken down a peg or two.

Local Elections and even possibly a General election. If anyone knows of a
Party Manifesto to eradicate cats, let me know. They have my vote :-))))

AND, if there is one to bring back National Service that get my vote as well
:-)))))

and a lot of other people's as well. What has National Service got to do

I am afraid as far as the Army was concerned, that is certainly the case,
but for the Senior Service not so, and as far as the RAF not so, take a look
at www.nsrafa.com . Now if the was the bull excrement from there, would
that be such a successful and growing Association?
