Raspberry canes

I have an established patch of raspberry canes some are summer fruiting
while the rest are the autumn kind. (Autumn Bliss) All fruit well and were
planted initially about 4 years ago.

Is it possible to move some of these canes as many are now to well spread
out and all over the plot. Do they take to being dug up and moved and might
this be a good time of year to do it while they are dormant.

Any advice greatly appreciated

John

Yep mid winter is a good time to move them. Though if you have very wet
solid from all the rains a little while ago, you might want to wait a
little
