Parsnip Canker
 
Somewhere I picked up a bit of advice which was that liming the ground
helped avoid parsnip canker. I limed heavily last year and put down
limestone chippings and I am glad to report that the advice appears to have
been very sound. Hardly a sign of canker, the first time for many years.

Thanks it's not 100% correct because I grew these on the same ground as last
