shrub to fit dark hollow?
 

Looking for a colourful shrub that would fill a 2 sq metre gap in a hollow,
gets sun only for awhile in the afternoon. Dont want anything too small or
anything that would grow larger than 2sq M. But as colourful and rich
flowering as poss, northern wet climate.
