To stratify or not to stratify

Hi all,

I'm currently growing some vampire palms from seed. They're currently
having a long soak, which is supposed to be followed by a long spell
in the fridge, however two of the seeds are already putting roots out.
Is it OK to plant those two, and just stratify the rest?

TIA
Nick

To stratify or not to stratify

I don't know for vampire palms specifically and there was nothing I could
find quickly on the web, but some seeds send out roots easily but then still
need the chill to get the shoots to break as well. Try planting one of the
two rooted seeds into a very sandy mixture and put the pot in the fridge
along with the other seeds. Try the other somewhere warm. One of them is
bound to take off.
