How to eat rhubarb raw
-----------------------------------

1. Enthusiastically chop the rhubarb into one inch chunks.

2. Deliberately fit the chopping blade to your word processor - I mean
food processor grin.

3. Casually pour in the rhubarb chunks, together with sultanas, brown
sugar, and evaporated milk ... and possibly a bit of muesli.

4. Confidently press button.

5. Delight in guessing what to do next!

Put the lid on the food processor and then hose down the kitchen?

If at first you don't succeed, give up, no use being a damn fool.

I'm sure it does! I'm a big fan of rhubarb, but I only planted a crown this
year, so I'll have to wait until next.

If you make people think they're thinking, they'll love you; but if you
really make them think they'll hate you.

That brings back a few childhood memories - 45 years ago.
My mum when she was preparing cabbage, cauliflower, used to give us the
white part from the stem.
And I can remember licking the bowl out after she made a cake, my daughter
loves doing this as well.

Me too. Love it. Hated cooked cabbage (still do).
Try kohlrabi.

Try stir-frying shredded cabbage, maybe with a shredded chilli and
carrot; dash of sesame oil, squeeze of lemon. It may change your view
of cabbage.

Cabbage recipe for cabbage haters :~)
Shred cabbage thinly
Gently stir fry in some butter
Add a chopped onion, a chopped apple and some caraway seeds
Simmer with a lid on for about ten minutes
Yummy

I still do, lick out the bowl after making cakes!
