Mantis tiller experience?
 

Anyone have any experience, pros/cons of the Mantis tiller system? Apart
from a Honda, what's the competition like? Will they work on very VERY heavy
wet clay soil?

Not what you wanted to hear but my Honda F21 works on our Thames clay/silt
even when it's very wet, indeed I've used it this week. Trouble is it does
get clogged up eventually especially if there is anything like weeds or
straw in the soil to wind round the tines so that the clay then binds on
that. Best to remove the end plates too as they do make it clog quicker.

Also great for loosening the soil between rows of spuds to make banking them
up easier.

Still, a digging fork would also need clearing with almost every forkful, so
it's still a lot easier using a rotovator, it breaks up the soil too and
gets air into it which is important with a clay soil that can pack down
easily (normal rain does it).
