Default Aubergine: Droopy leaves

Know nothing about gardening but I've grown some aubergines on the
windowsill, I moved them outside a couple of days ago and I've noticed that
the leaves go really limp and droopy, they do recover but what's the cause
of this? assumed they need water and drench them, do they need to go into a
shadier area? TIA
