Noticed the Rowan buds are just starting to swell but no decidious
trees have the emerald green sprakle, still bare branches.

Fair few Curlews about, not seen or heard many Plovers yet. Reports
of the Black Grouse in full leck higher up.

Spring is arriving.

That's interesting Dave because we have just spent the weekend in Kent on a
reunion and we remarked when we got back to the Isle of Wight, that whereas
their Daffs are starting to go over, as are some of ours, the trees in Kent
are far more advanced than ours in greening up.
