two different turnip types. swedes are
rutabagas are orangy/yellow pale color.
some people raise them for animal feed too
i grow most of them here for worm food (as
a soil cover crop).

some people like the greens. (wonder how
Derald is doing down there in FL with all the
recent rains...?)

i like them better than potatoes if they
are going to be cooked. haven't tried them
pickled, fermented (kraut) or raw yet. not
in any hurry...
