I suspected as much.


She has looked into whether or not the surveyor can be held accountable and to the best of my knowledge the answer was "he can't".


Who gave that answer?


The surveyor has nothing to lose. He is insured.


He can lose reputation (meh!) and have increased insurance
premiums after a negligence claim (smaller meh!)
