It's absolutely tipping down with rain here and there's low cloud
stretching into an infinitely grey horizon. I do hope it's going to
perk up for the week end! Ah well, less outside watering to do!

Grey and cloudy, but DRY here. Met office web site this morning
predicted heavy rain all day (80% probability), so far a brief
shower just before lunch and that is it!

Just looked at teh rainfall radar, and that implies it should
have been raining here for the last hour! I suppose the saying
about sunshine on the ...... may be relevant
