This is the lost-name ceanothus I described last week (see below)

Isle of Arran

I don't know it, but from the shape and colour of the flower - if it is
a hybrid - I'd bet that it has some Ceanothus arboreus in it. The leaf,
however, seems somewhat darker than that of C. arboreus.
