Default How to get rid of a rabbit?

Rabbits don't like blood and bone meal but that is only temporary.

If you want to get rid of them permanently there are a number of tactics
that do work.

Use the sort of poison used in agriculture for control of rabbits - it'd
be worth finding out what that poison is in your country. If it's
available in the UK, 1080 works.

1080 is a very foul poison but effective. Any other mammal taking the
bait will be history too.

If you can find the burrow another thing that works is to use an older
model lead petrol powered car exhaust where you shove a hose over the
exhaust pipe and shove the hose down the burrow and pack the exhaust
around with soil to prevent fume escape. Leave the engine running for a
good half hour or even more.

After you remove the exhaust hose, rip the burrow using a pick and keep
ripping it whenever you see sign of activity.

Another tactic is to get a Jack Russell or 3.
