But Sue, what about the worms in the compost? I love to see millions of them
in my compost, are they going to provide the main course?

Hi :-)
Does anyone know what this is - 2 views. One of them flew off, although
the wings must be very thin!
I need also to know if I can still use the compost after infestation,
and if not, how do I get rid of them, please?

You typed the same link twice.
Anyway, it's the Devil's Coach-horse. A carnivore that eats woodlice.

I could only see a Fb page but Devil's Coach Horses eat all sorts of
creepy crawlies including slugs. That's probably why the beetles were in
the compost - it's like a 5* restaurant for them in there. An
interesting and useful inhabitant of your garden I'd say; no need to try
and exterminate them.
