The stems of some of my potted hydrangeas have drooped this year, its
almost as if the stems are not strong enough to support the blooms.
Suggestions please?

More water? Epsom salts?

They did dry out a bit one week we were away, could one dry spell leave
them permanently drooping?

I don't usually do hydrangeas in pots but as chance would have it, I was
given a potted one this summer which then dried out a few times and
wilted, then came back. It does have a very droopy look now, although
it's a small plant.

I'm no expert on hydrangeas though...

Have you checked for any sap sucking bugs that might be undermining stem
turgidity?
