Default Phalenopsis

Roger we have just returned off Oceana's cruise to the Canaries and I
wondered how they did the Palms in the Atrium!!

Real again as you say.

Something I have noticed is that the flower on the table and in your cabin
is at bud stage when you join the ship and over the period of the cruise you
can see them 'progress'.

Just returned from a cruise, and on the ship in almost every
shelf in public spaces, they had phal orchids. Most of them had
two flower stalks almost identical in terms of size/age - how
do they (or their growers) achieve that?

Also they all lived in a warm atmosphere with electric lights
on 24 hrs/day.

Oh, and by the way, they were real/live plants, not
plastic/synthetic replicas
