Default Vegetarian human poo in the veg plot?

In article ,
says...
In the UK farmers today frequently spread
animal manures such as slurry from cowsheds onto fields where crops
are subsequently grown.

Around here, the muck spreading is only done on arable fields.

They also seem to choose to spread it one field that have
public footpaths in the the day before a fine weekend is due!
