Yes I know I can Google this, but looking for personal recommendation.

Anyone recommend tree surgeons around Hull and the East Yorkshire
region?
Looking for serious reduction in size of one copper beech and one
silver birch trees.

You might try asking the local council or power company who they use.

Whoever you invite to tender for the job, ask to SEE their current
insurance certificate. IME qualified professionals are very happy to do
so, because it distinguishes them from the unqualified cowboys.
