I have just very recently bought this strimmer after reading good
reviews about it.

I used it for the first time today, and the 2mm yellow strimmer wires
which come with it don't last long , especially if it is used up against
lawn edging etc.

The said nylon wires are about 12 to 15 inches long and fit through a
hole in the head of the strimmer, by pressing a side button, then
release it and the wire is held tight.

Would cut lengths of nylon wire on a spool last any longer.
